RED – Documentary: An attempt towards to educate people about the hazardous effects of carcinogenic betel nut and betel quid with tobacco (GUTKA) chewing caused catastrophic harm in South East Asia. Oral cancer has become a common disease in this region. This is not only being used as a substitute of cigarettes but for its sweet taste kids are using it as a candy. Now this tax free and very low cost product is available all over the world, specially in North America. Many cases of oral cancer have currently been identified in North America from gutka. Before this situation becomes even more horrific; measures need to be taken to spread awareness, ban the availability and consumption of this fatal product to save lives including our youth.
